REGISTRATION FEES
All funds for sign-ups will be taken by Victor James. Each parent that pays will be given a sign receipt by Victor James. No Coach or General Manager, Team Mom, Commissioner, etc… shall handle/collect any monies. All fundraisers are to be cleared by LACS Board of Directors before starting. Any unauthorized fundraisers will be terminated and prosecuted by law.
SALES
A.) All sales must be approved by LACS governing Board of Directors. A fundraising application, including the potential revenue must be submitted to Victor James for approval two weeks prior to sales. B.) Any fundraisers using LACS name will be charged 30% of total sales. C.) Price of items, location of sales, and the dates of sales must be supplied to the LACS Board for approval along with a revenue report. D.) Anyone found violating these procedures will be prosecuted by the law.
EXPENDITURES
A.) A Purchase Order Form must be filled out and signed before any items are ordered. B.) Under NO circumstances are coaches, parents, general managers, team moms, advisors, etc… are to keep money in their possessions from any LACS activities.
COMMITTEES
All staff members are encouraged to participate in giving input into the operations of any LACS activities via committee process. Snack Bar Committee helps with preparing the snack bar on Saturdays. Inventory merchandise before and after sales. Monitors the gate at all home games, keeping outside food out of park.
CONFLICT RESOLUTIONS
Conflicts will naturally arise from time to time between coaches, parents, staff and fans. To safely manage these conflicts we ask coaches, general managers, team moms to inform LACS Board of any potential problems.
DISCIPLINE POLICY
Lynwood Athletics Community Services maintains and consistently applies a single standard of discipline with all coaches, players, parents, staff and volunteers. The purpose of the organization discipline policy is to maintain a fun environment conducive to learning the fundamentals of sports and life. As a result, to ensure that we provide a due process to all issues behavior related, our investigations shall be full, fair, and equal.
TERRORISTS THREATS
Terrorists threats against and staff, volunteers, players, general managers, etc… will have serious consequences. 1.) A person may be arrested. 2.) A terrorist threats shall include any statement whether written or oral, by a person who will fully threatens to commit a crime which results in death, great bodily injury to another person or property damage in excess of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) with specific intent that the statement is to be taken as a threat, even if there is no intent of actually carrying it out.
APPAREL
Under No Circumstances are LACS name on apparel are to be reproduced or sold by outside vendor, parent, coach, or staff member without written permission from LACS Board of Directors.
SAFETY POLICY
LACS have established a safety policy to provide safe conditions for all parents, players, coaches, and staff. LACS recognize its responsibility to furnish a safe place for visitors, players and the general public, and to maintain and enforce a program to fulfill this responsibility. Therefore, it shall be considered each staff, coaches, etc…be responsible to ensure their own safety and health of all the players that participate in LACS football/cheer program. Coaches and Staff at all times, while on school property, conduct themselves and perform practice in a safe manner, consistent with safety rules, policies, procedures, and a provision of LACS policy and procedures.
GENERAL SAFETY RULES
1.) All accidents and injuries shall be reported to the coaches, staff or football President at the time of their occurrence. 2.) No running or horse playing on school campus during practice or games. 3.) No climbing on gates, monkey bars, or railings on school campus. 4.) No smoking or drinking of alcohol on school property. 5.) Failure by any staff, volunteer, coach player to comply with the safety rules is grounds for corrective discipline or dismissal. 6.) All on the field coaches must be first aid and CPR certified (no exceptions).
COACHES COMPLIANCE
To ensure that coaches with LACS comply with LACS injury prevention program, LACS have established a disciplinary procedure for all staff, coaches, parents, volunteers, etc…1st violation: verbal warning2nd violation: written warning 3rd violation: Termination from Program Any persons found in violation of LACS policies and procedures will be subject to the above actions.
